It was a bad week for me and an even worse weekend. Tottie started getting sick last weekend. I took her in to the doctor on Tuesday with mucousy, bloody stools and screaming every time she pooped. The test results came back on Thursday that it was C-diff. Friday she started throwing up and wouldn't stop, so we ended up in the Emergency Room getting IV fluids and anti-nausea meds all night. Saturday we pretty much slept all day. Sunday she started throwing up again. Thank God they sent us home from the ER with anti-nausea meds! Yesterday was better but Tottie still isn't 100%. I'm exhausted and haven't really touched my camera this week.
Just for fun because I thought this picture was fitting :)
Back to the main subject, because I haven't had a lot of participation in Try Something New Tuesdays since I started it a few weeks ago, and because it's a lot of work for me to try something new every week. I am thinking of making this a once a month meme now. What do you think? Would you be more or less willing to participate if it were once a month?

Oh goodness, Jamie! I am so sorry to hear about your daughter :( I hope she is on the road to recovery!! (hugs!)
Poor little thing. I really hope she is all better soon.
I'm in for the 'Try something Tuesday's' whenever suits you! Looking forward to it.
Poor baby! I hope she's feeling better soon! Things have been crazy around my place too, which is why I haven't been able to participate in your meme, but I could definitely handle once a month!
Nothing worse than when your child is sick! What on earth is cdiff? I feel like a moron for asking, but really have no clue.
Thanks for the well-wishes guys! Things are getting better around here. Tottie is feeling better but is tired and a bit cranky. This stuff just wipes you out!
AZ Mamma-- C-diff is C-difficile Toxin. It's a "new" super-bug that the media is going to start going crazy over. It's a bad bacteria that is found in most people's guts. Sometimes the good/bad bacteria get out of balance and the bad bacteria takes over. C-diff used to only be found in hospitals in patients on tons of IV antibiotics but now it's out in the community. It causes severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance because of diarrhea. The media is going crazy over it because people (though few people) have died because of it.
